Letter to a friend, mentioning the wife of Gabriel Maurey, an essayist, art critic, and translator for whom Debussy composed some incidental music. In full (translated): "I have to admit, frankly, that I don't much like to go out in the morning, it ruins my day. I have to catch up on some back work. You would be very kind to come on Wednesday at whatever hour you want. I thank Madame Maurey for her sympathetic remembrance and I with you to send her respectful wishes." In fine condition, with a short split to the top of the hinge.
