Amazing original felt tip sketch of a scene inspired by the 1997 film Mimic, which depicts two large Judas Breed insects surrounding a young boy, who innocently notes that they have "Funny shoes," accomplished in blue felt tip on an off-white 12 x 8.5 sheet, signed below by the film's director, Guillermo del Toro. In fine condition. The science-fiction horror film Mimic marked Del Toro's second feature film and his first American major studio release. Despite earning mixed reviews and faltering at the box office, the movie has since amassed a cult following and displays much of Del Toro's trademark style and vision, elements more famously captured in later films like Hellboy, Pan's Labyrinth, and The Shape of Water.
