Description

Pseudonym of prominent Danish author Karen Blixen (1885-1962), best known for her account of life in Kenya, Out of Africa, later adapted into an Academy Award-winning film. Fountain pen signature, "Karen Blixen,” on an off-white 4.5 x 1.25 slip. Also included is an off-white 5.5 x 1.75 slip with a handwritten salutation in Danish from Dinesen: "Med venlige hilsner [Best regards]." In fine condition, with some faint staining and light creasing.
