Group lot of seven official NASA publications related to the historic Apollo 11 mission, including: an unbound manual entitled “Project: Apollo 11 (To be launched no earlier than July 16,” 250 pages, dated June 26, 1969, Release No. 69-83K, which includes sections: Apollo 11 Countdown, Launch Events, Apollo 11 Mission Events, Mission Trajectory and Maneuver Description, Recovery Operations, Photographic Tasks, Lunar Description, and more; a stapled 29-page booklet for the “First Anniversary” of Apollo 11; a stapled 86-page “NASA News” release entitled “Project: Fifth Anniversary Press Kit,” June 13, 1974, Release No. 74-175; a stapled 2-page “NASA News, 5th Anniversary” packet headed, “First Lunar Landing Launch Site to Be Dedicated,” Release No. 74-184; a stapled 8-page “NASA News” packet with 10th anniversary emblem, headed “Saturn V: A Thundering Success,” Release No. 79-76; a stapled 25-page packet entitled “NASA Press Conference, Apollo XI 20th Anniversary,” May 26, 1989, which lists the crew as participants and David Garrett as the moderator; and a 15-page 20th Anniversary booklet entitled “Log of Apollo 11.” Includes a copy of a special “Moon Landing” section of the Evening Post, dated August 2, 1969. In overall fine condition, with edgewear to newspaper, light staining to front of "Log of Apollo 11," staple holes to unbound manual, and some rust to staples.
