Description
Pencil signature of Bram Stoker on the reverse of an off-white 4 x 7.5 Delmonicos dinner menu dated March 16, 1902, also signed by actor Henry Irving, banker J. Edward Simmons, and others. In very good to fine condition, with two folds across the top, and staple holes to top and bottom. Stoker worked as business manager for Henry Irving's world-famous Lyceum Theatre in London between 1879 and 1898, where he supplemented his income by writing a large number of sensational novels—his most famous being the vampire tale Dracula, published in 1897.
