Coutts & Company bank check, 7.25 x 3.25, neatly filled out and signed by Dickens, "Charles Dickens," payable to Mess'rs Woodrow & Rowe for £3.2.0, May 6, 1863. In fine condition, with three vertical folds. Accompanied by an envelope annotated later by a collector, "Cheque signed by Charles Dickens, (Given to M. G. Egston by Hon. Charlotte Knollys on March 8th, 1926 at Marlborough House)."
