Letter to Giacinto Auriti, the Italian ambassador to Japan, in full (translated): "I received your kind communication of 16 u.s., and I thank you very much both for this and for the telegram we received at the time. Both my wife and I keep the most grateful memory of our stay in Tokyo and the care you have bestowed upon us, and we cordially reciprocate our best regards." In fine condition, with lightly speckled toning.
