Accompanied by the original presentation box with presidential seal and facsimile signature of President Johnson, as well as a typed caption affirming that the pen was “used by the President on November 8, 1967, in signing H.R. 5894." In fine condition, with some light foxing and soiling to the box and typed caption. This significant act applied the standard attrition provisions of male officers promotion and retirement laws to women officers in the American military.
