Incredible pair of drum brushes personally-owned and -used by Keith Moon, the legendary drummer for The Who, both measuring 13.5″ in length. In very good to fine condition, with expected signs of use. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from the original recipient, renowned producer and promoter Alan Goldsmith: "These drum snare sticks were given to me by Keith Moon of the Who after they played a concert for me on March 25th 1965 at Watford." Goldsmith appears to misremember the date of the concert, which occurred some 54 years ago; The Who played Trade Union Hall in Watford on March 21, 1965, a mere three months into a hectic calendar of touring that witnessed the band play an approximate total of 263 shows. The opportunity to own sticks, brushes, or any piece of a drum set played by Keith Moon, is a rare and special occurrence not to be missed.
