Very desirable FDC with a cachet honoring the 75th anniversary of the American Bar Association, postmarked in Boston on August 24, 1953, signed in black ink, "John F. Kennedy, U.S. Senator Mass." The cover is also signed by former Massachusetts Governors Christian Herter and Leverett Saltonstall. In fine to very fine condition. Saltonstall served as a Bay State senator alongside Kennedy between 1953 and 1960, when the latter resigned to become president. Herter was later appointed by President Kennedy as the first United States Trade Representative.
