Fantastic color 12.5 x 25 cover proof for The Traveling Wilburys Vol. 1, the debut studio album from the country-folk rock supergroup Traveling Wilburys, signed on the front cover in black felt tip by George Harrison as "Nelson Wilbury," Jeff Lynne as "Otis Wilbury," Tom Petty as "Charlie T. Wilbury, Jr.," and Roy Orbison as "Lefty." Cloth-matted and framed to an overall size of 30.5 x 18.5. In fine condition. Consignor notes that this proof was acquired directly from a senior label executive at Warner Bros. Records, who had the proof signed when four of the five Traveling Wilburys visited the Warner Bros. offices in 1988 (unfortunately, Bob Dylan never went to the WB offices). A considerably rare and aesthetically pleasing multi-signed album proof—Orbison's signature as a member of the Traveling Wilburys remains quite rare, given that he passed away the year this proof was signed.
