Two items: a vintage official glossy 8 x 10 black-numbered NASA photo of Lovell in a suit and tie, signed in fountain pen, "Best Regards, James Lovell"; and a TLS signed "James A. Lovell," one page, 8 x 10.5, NASA letterhead, February 20, 1963, in part: "The wonderful letters expressing interest and enthusiasm for the national space program are most encouraging and, I might add, inspiring to all of us who are a part of this vital work." In overall very good condition, with light edge paperclip impressions, missing lower right corner to the photo, and wear to the bottom edge of the letter.
