Autograph:
An autograph refers to a handwritten document signed by its author or
simply the handwritten signature itself. The term autograph in contemporary
terminology most often refers to any item with a handwritten signature
which has important historical, cultural, or social significance. Such
items range from handwritten or typed documents and letters to boxing
gloves or record sleeves, all bearing a handwritten signature from an
individual significantly related to the item.
Signed:
Documents, letters, photographs, or objects
that may not be inherently significant gain a greater importance when
they are signed by a famous individual. The handwritten signature lends
a personal mark signifying that the object was physically present in a
famous life or event, creating a piece of history

Collectibles span a wide variety of objects that individuals choose to
accumulate for their historical, social, cultural, personal, or monetary
significance. Any items can be considered collectible, however some items
are collected by a greater number of individuals. Philography is the term
used to refer to the hobby of collecting autographs or autographed items.
An event, person, or item is given the term historical in reference to
the past. Most often something is termed historical if it relates to an
event deemed important in the aggregate of human experience. Historical
events span all disciplines ranging from science and technology to entertainment.
Autographs bear particular historical importance because they are a form
