Rare original pinback button from the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom, which was held in Washington, D.C., on August 28, 1963. Made by Allied Printing of New York, the button measures 2.25˝ in diameter and features a design of white and black hands shaking in unity. In fine condition. A desirable keepsake from a landmark Civil Right moment, one punctuated by Martin Luther King, Jr.’s historic ‘I Have a Dream’ speech.
