Handwritten letter to Amos Binney, in full: "Capt. Hull will turn over to you the gunboat belonging to the Yard—which you will dispose of at public sale to the best advantage—applying the proceeds towards paying any of the contingent expenses of the Yard." Distinctively cloth-matted and framed with an engraved portrait and biographical caption to an overall size of 26.5 x 24.25. In fine condition.
