Frank Borman’s “Vehicle Commander’s Report” that he issued to the National Aeronautic Association to classify the flight of the Gemini 7 as a world record. Filled out in type, the document contains several fields related to the successful geocentric orbit flight, including: Record Classification (“World Record – Manned Orbital Flight, Distance and Duration in Group Formation Flight”), Date of Attempt (“December 15, 1965 thru December 18, 1965”), and Mark and Type of Vehicle (“Booster – Gemini Launch Vehicle, Spacecraft – Gemini VII”). The lower section features information relative to Launch and Return Sites. Signed at the conclusion in ballpoint by Borman, whose FAI license number is listed in the lower left. In fine condition, with a small stain to the top edge.
