UPDATE: John Phillips is shown in the four EVA photos, not Krikalev as previously stated in this description.

Description

Sergei Krikalev’s pair of EVA-flown embroidered patches from Expedition 11, the 11th expedition to the International Space Station (ISS), which were worn on the space suits of Krikalev and John Phillips during the mission’s nearly 5-hour spacewalk on August 18, 2005. Both embroidered patches, 3.75˝ in diameter, feature matching attractive designs of an ISS astronaut/cosmonaut working on a solar panel during an EVA, with gold lettering below (translated): “VKD, ISS - XI.” The patches bear different color borders: the red issued for Commander Sergei Krikalev and the blue for Flight Engineer John Phillips. The patches bear Velcro backs. In overall fine condition. Accompanied by five color photos, which show the patches on their respective space suits (with four of Phillips performing his EVA), and two signed certificates of authenticity from Krikalev, who ranks fourth to Gennady Padalka, Oleg Kononenko, and Yuri Malenchenko for the most time spent in space: a total of 803 days, 9 hours, and 39 minutes.
