Uncommon 'splashdown' cover, 6.5 x 4.5, with a stamped cachet honoring the U.S. Navy Atlantic Recovery Force tasked with retrieving the crew of the Apollo 10 mission, postmarked aboard the USS Chilton on May 26, 1969, signed in black ink or felt tip by Gene Cernan, John Young, and Tom Stafford. In fine condition. The Apollo 10 crew were ultimately recovered by the USS Princeton in the Pacific Ocean not far from the Cook Islands.
