How to achieve bidding success:
- You must bid on a lot BEFORE 10 pm EST in order to continue bidding on that lot AFTER 10 pm.
- If you have not bid on an OPEN lot before 10 pm, you will NOT be able to bid on it AFTER 10 pm.
- All lots WITHOUT an opening bid at 10 pm will remain OPEN to ALL bidders for 30 minutes or until they receive their first bid. These lots will close immediately upon receipt of a bid or at 10:30 pm, whichever comes first.
- Any lot with a SINGLE bid at 10 pm will close and be awarded to its sole bidder.
- For all lots that are active after 10 pm, bidding will remain open until 30 minutes pass without a bid being placed on THAT lot.
- The 30 minute rule is applied on a PER LOT BASIS; each lot in the auction closes individually based on bidding activity after 10 pm.
- On a PER LOT BASIS, 30 minute timer will reset each time a bid is placed after 10 pm.
- If you are the high bidder, raising your maximum bid will NOT reset the timer.
- All bids - online, email, phone, fax - are considered by the 30 minute clock.
- Do not wait until the last minute to bid. There is no advantage to waiting because placing a bid will reset an item’s clock, giving everyone a fair chance to win.
PLEASE NOTE: RR Auction, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to extend the bidding, or reset the 30 minute timer, on any item at any time.
